Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nils Fredrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bumpy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fredrik drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Johnson throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Fredrik tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fredrik has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Johnson is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson is pushing Fredrik's head away, looking to escape. Fredrik manages to hold on to the position though.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fredrik. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fredrik tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fredrik has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fredrik is breathing heavily.
Johnson is trying to get back to his feet.

Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fredrik wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fredrik will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Johnson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Fredrik is rocked!
Johnson wants to clinch up but Fredrik keeps it at a distance.
A right-left combo lands from Johnson.
Oh Fredrik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Johnson taking a breather.
Fredrik fails to pull guard.
Fredrik seems to have got his legs back now.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fredrik will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fredrik shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Fredrik drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Johnson dives on top into guard.

Johnson wants to control from the top but Fredrik keeps moving.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Johnson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Fredrik tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Fredrik manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Fredrik working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Johnson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fredrik is tightening it up a little... Johnson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Johnson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Johnson taps out! nice BJJ there by Fredrik!
