The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rua moves into range and clinches up with Moye.
Rua looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Rua lands a right hand that snaps the head of Moye backwards.

Rua tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Moye's elbow.
Moye is trying to force a seperation but Rua has the dominant position.

It looks like Derek Moye has been cut.

Moye tries to pull guard but Rua holds him up against the cage and eventually Moye drops back down to his feet.

Moye drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rua manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moye has Rua in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
