Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between recom uy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marko Ilecic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). uy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, bleed it out by linkin park. Marko Ilecic told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilecic moves in looking to clinch but uy pushes him off.
Ilecic leaves uy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ilecic with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Ilecic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. uy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
uy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ilecic prevents uy from improving his position.

Ilecic stands up from half guard.

Ilecic gets caught flat footed, as uy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

uy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
uy is looking to stand up but Ilecic won't let him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ilecic is on top in guard.
Ilecic stops uy from standing up.
Ilecic has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of uy is proving hard to escape from.
uy keeping moving, preventing Ilecic from controlling successfully.
Ilecic must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

uy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ilecic can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

uy is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! uy extends the arm and Ilecic is forced to tap!
