The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vegar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ozaka tries to get to full guard but Vegar has control of the leg.
Vegar passes into side control, despite Ozaka's attempt to control the position.

Vegar working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Ozaka is trying to get back to half guard.
Vegar is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Ozaka wants to control but Vegar postures up.

Vegar has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ozaka is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vegar yanks on the arm and Ozaka is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vegar.
