The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bart shoots in for a takedown but Ever shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Bart is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ever can't fight it off and eventually Bart manages to take the fight to the floor. Ever looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ever has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ever's waist but Ever gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bart off to one side.

Bart is landing with some decent strikes but Ever is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Bart lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bart has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ever's face.
Bart pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Ever really wants to buck Bart off and get back to his feet.
Ever wants to control but Bart is having none of it.
You get the feeling that Ever really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Bart jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ever walks away with a smile on his face. Bart gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ever wants to control from the top but Bart keeps moving.
Bart is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bart lands a nice short elbow.
Bart is looking to take a break and control but Ever is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ever shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bart sprawls well. Bart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ever gets slowly back to his feet.
Bart misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ever throws a hook to the side of Bart's head but Bart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bart throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bart tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ever just stands there and leans against the cage.

Bart turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bart manages to end up in side control.

Ever is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bart has just dragged him back down to the mat.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Ever looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Bart! Submission of the night perhaps?
