Nakimurika comes to the ring accompanied by Angry Again. Matsuyushi Nakimurika has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakimurika throws an overhand right that lands on Aaltonen's shoulder, as Aaltonen tries to avoid the shot.

Aaltonen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Aaltonen showed some decent athleticism there.
Aaltonen stops Nakimurika from getting back to his feet.
Nakimurika tries to roll over but Aaltonen keeps him under control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Nakimurika pushes Aaltonen off looking to stand but Aaltonen dives back in and keeps control.
Nakimurika is looking for a sweep. Aaltonen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nakimurika is trying to maintain the position but Aaltonen is very close to passing his half guard.
Aaltonen is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Nakimurika tries to get to full guard but Aaltonen has control of the leg.
Nakimurika wants to control but Aaltonen is keeping busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Aaltonen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Nakimurika is looking to stand up but Aaltonen isn't so interested in that idea.

Aaltonen wants to stand but Nakimurika is controlling his posture from full guard.
Nakimurika can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Aaltonen controls the pace.
Nakimurika is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nakimurika throws a lazy right hand but Aaltonen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Aaltonen closes the distance and clinches.
Nakimurika is looking to break free of the clinch but Aaltonen has double underhooks.

Aaltonen manages to pull guard.

Aaltonen has his foot on Nakimurika's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nakimurika works his way back into a safe position though.
Nakimurika tries to stand but Aaltonen is controlling from the bottom.

Aaltonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nakimurika gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Aaltonen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nakimurika!
Aaltonen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Aaltonen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nakimurika has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Nakimurika wants to try and get back to his feet.
Aaltonen controlling his opponent.

Aaltonen with a couple of short strikes.
Aaltonen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nakimurika tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Nakimurika tries to lock up and control but Aaltonen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Aaltonen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nakimurika can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Nakimurika wants to stand but Aaltonen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nakimurika stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aaltonen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nakimurika slips nicely into half guard.
Aaltonen wants to get back to full guard.

Nakimurika stands up out of the half guard.
Nakimurika throws and low kick but Aaltonen moves out of range easily.
Aaltonen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Nakimurika scores with a counter punch that sends Aaltonen to the canvas! Nakimurika smells blood - he's punishing Aaltonen with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Aaltonen has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
