The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell misses with a body shot.
Grulor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mitchell throws a head kick that misses.

and Mitchell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Grulor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Mitchell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mitchell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mitchell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grulor was well out of range. Poor timing from Mitchell.
Mitchell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Grulor doesn't seem bothered though.
Mitchell throws a sloppy head kick and Grulor moves out of range easily.

and Mitchell counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Mitchell connects with the punch.
Mitchell throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Grulor stumbling backwards into the ropes! Grulor bounces back off the ropes towards Mitchell, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Mitchell lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Mitchell celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
