Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Snapfish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Hazard!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snapfish closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hazard manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Snapfish lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Snapfish working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Hazard looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Snapfish looking to pass the guard.
Snapfish wanted to stand there but Hazard had control of the position.
Hazard keeping moving, preventing Snapfish from controlling successfully.
Snapfish throwing strikes from guard but Hazard blocks nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snapfish thows a big elbow that misses.
Snapfish throws a strike but Hazard rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hazard prevents Snapfish from getting back to his feet.
Hazard controlling from the top position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Snapfish misses with a few strikes there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Snapfish looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hazard is fending him off so far but Snapfish persists. Nope, Hazard circles away and we're back to standing.
Hazard wants to clinch

and Snapfish counters by moving into the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Snapfish.
Hazard fails to pull guard.
Snapfish misses with a knee to the head.
Snapfish comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Snapfish is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hazard pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Snapfish stalling the fight.

Snapfish breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Snapfish with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hazard jumps guard but Snapfish stands there with Hazard around his waist. Hazard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hazard just leaning against Snapfish, taking a breather.
Hazard fails to pull guard.
Bobby Snapfish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Hazard.

Snapfish breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snapfish tries to clinch but Hazard moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hazard.
Hazard has his takedown stuffed
and Snapfish counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hazard looks gassed!
Snapfish wants to clinch

and Hazard counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snapfish is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hazard jumps into side control!

Snapfish is trying to control Hazard's posture but Hazard avoids it.
Hazard is looking to take a break and control but Snapfish is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Robert Hazard will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Snapfish fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Hazard checks it well.
Snapfish fails with a takedown attempt.
Snapfish misses with a wild combination.

Hazard gets the takedown into side control.
Snapfish tries to control but Hazard manages to take his back.
Snapfish wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hazard's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hazard has the hooks in. Snapfish is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Snapfish is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Hazard is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Snapfish taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Hazard.
