And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anton closes the distance and clinches.
Lips wants a takedown but no success here.

Lips goes for a takedown in the clinch but Anton prevents it.

Lips drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lips throws a big right hand that misses.
Lips prevents Anton from getting back to his feet.
Lips stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Anton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lips. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Anton is pressed up against the cage. Lips has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Anton down to the mat. Anton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lips is breathing heavily.

Lips fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Anton avoids it really well and circles away.

Thunder Lips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anton has managed to clinch.

and Anton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lips fails to pull guard.
Lips tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lips is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Anton gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Still in the clinch, Anton scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lips tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anton just stands there and leans against the cage.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Anton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lips jumps into guard, dragging Anton to the mat.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Lips has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anton avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lips jumps guard but Anton stands there with Lips around his waist. Lips gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lips tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Anton smiles and moves away.

Lips shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anton's guard.
Lips prevents Anton from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lips drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lips jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Anton is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lips slips nicely into half guard.

Anton wants to get back to his feet.
Lips is trying to control the action in half guard but Anton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lips decides to return to a standing position.
Lips misses with a takedown

and Anton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Anton.

Lips looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lips tries for a takedown but Anton circles away easily
and Anton counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Lips is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Lips keeps the fight on the outside.

and Anton holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Anton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lips gets the takedown into side control.

Lips is working to tighten is grip on Anton's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Anton has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lips is really squeezing tight and eventually Anton passes out! Lips breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
