The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne shoots in for a double leg but Dee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wayne lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Wayne has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dee is working away from the top position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Dee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wayne sprawls well initially but Dee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wayne wants to control but Dee is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Dee has gone for a leg lock! Wayne slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dee's guard.
