Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Arsene Peroche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Lawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peroche comes to the cage accompanied by Down with the sickness. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Lawler!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Peroche paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lawler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Peroche.
Peroche shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lawler sprawls well. Lawler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peroche gets slowly back to his feet.
Lawler wants to clinch up but Peroche keeps it at a distance.
Peroche throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Peroche will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lawler tightens his grip and picks Peroche up, before dumping him to the ground. Peroche manages to land in guard.

Peroche jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lawler walks away with a smile on his face. Peroche gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Lawler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

You get the feeling that Lawler really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Lawler tries to kick Peroche off but Peroche keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lawler is looking to improve his position.
Peroche perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Peroche prevents Lawler from standing back up.
Peroche is taking a breather. Lawler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Peroche is nestled in close to Lawler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
