Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lonnie Kiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avtomat Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lonnie Kiger has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonnie Kiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avtomat Kalashnikov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov shoots for a takedown but Kiger saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Kalashnikov counters with a low kick, right behind Kiger 's knee.

Kiger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kalashnikov was covering up waiting for the punch and Kiger finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kiger has gone for a leg lock! Kalashnikov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kiger's guard.

Kiger is looking for a triangle but Kalashnikov pushes his legs off easily.

Kalashnikov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kiger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kalashnikov has managed to get both his arms back between Kiger's legs - danger averted.

Well Kalashnikov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
