Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Penn.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bear crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Penn - the referee stops the clock and Bear gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Penn. Bear manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bear is breathing heavily.
Penn is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bear sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Penn tries for a takedown but Bear sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A nice combination there by Penn.
Bear misses with a takedown

and Penn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bear!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Penn pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Penn gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

so Bear counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Teddy Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Penn.

Penn pushes Bear off and scrambles back to his feet.

Penn has managed to clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Penn.

Penn manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Bear stops Penn from standing up.
Penn looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Penn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Penn forces the positional change into back control.
Bear is trapped and Penn is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Penn gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Bear is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Penn gets his way!
Penn controlling well, preventing Bear from escaping the position.

Bear won't enjoy being in this position. Penn looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Bear is tapping - it's over boys! Penn picks up the submission victory!
