Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Moskvil Mathisen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bartholomew bampton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bampton has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moskvil Mathisen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. bampton was covering up waiting for the punch and Moskvil Mathisen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
bampton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Moskvil Mathisen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Moskvil Mathisen forces his way into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moskvil Mathisen is pressing down on bampton's thigh, looking to free his foot. bampton is holding on for now.
Well, if Moskvil Mathisen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Moskvil Mathisen works his foot free and advances to mount.

bampton gets caught flat footed, as Moskvil Mathisen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Moskvil Mathisen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

bampton keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

bampton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Moskvil Mathisen has hold of bampton's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and bampton manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
bampton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moskvil Mathisen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

bampton tries to improve his position but Moskvil Mathisen has taken his back! Moskvil Mathisen has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will bampton tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Moskvil Mathisen pushes bampton away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
