The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dickerson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dickerson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
You can see the frustration on McCold's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
McCold is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dickerson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but McCold is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
McCold takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

It looks like Jean Dickerson has been cut.

McCold connects with a nice cross there... Dickerson is looking wobbly and McCold recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Dickerson to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - McCold jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
