Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Junior Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samryn Redflame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Junior Gracie has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Junior Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Samryn Redflame!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch but Redflame is having none of it.

Gracie closes the distance and clinches.
Gracie is working for takedown but Redflame is calmly controlling the position for now.
Redflame is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Redflame tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gracie avoids it.
Gracie drops down looking for an ankle pick but Redflame pulls his leg out and moves away.

Redflame closes the distance and clinches.

Gracie turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Redflame is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Redflame is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Redflame blocking the ground and pound attempt from Gracie.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Redflame defends it.

Gracie is looking to pass Redflame's guard but actually Redflame recovers to full guard.

Redflame looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gracie won't allow Redflame to sweep him here.
Gracie controls from within his opponent's guard.
Gracie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Redflame is retaining full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Gracie decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Redflame moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Redflame sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Junior Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie stuffs the takedown attempt from Redflame. Redflame gets slowly back to his feet.

Gracie gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gracie throws a knee to the head but misses.
Redflame missing with knees to the body.
Gracie pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Redflame goes for a takedown attempt but Gracie pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Redflame looks gassed!
Gracie moves out of range of the body kick from Redflame.
Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Redflame moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Redflame tries to lock up and control but Gracie gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Redflame can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Redflame has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Gracie trying to control but Redflame is having none of it.

Gracie wants to finish this one by submission but Redflame is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gracie.

Gracie get's back to his feet.

Gracie clinches up against the cage.
Gracie tries to land a knee to the head but Redflame blocks with his arms.
The referee is keeping an eye on Gracie - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Gracie lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Redflame defends it well.

Redflame is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gracie pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie tries to clinch up but Redflame circles away and keeps his distance.
Redflame misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Redflame stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Redflame is breathing heavily.

Gracie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Redflame is controlling him.

Gracie has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Redflame doesn't defend quickly enough and Gracie has managed to lock this one up! Can Redflame escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gracie on a fantastic submission victory.
