Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flame fails to land with a series of punches.

averse closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
averse wants to control but Flame is keeping him busy.
averse in side control lands a decent elbow.
averse trying to control the position but Flame is working away.
Flame struggling a bit here.

averse has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

averse fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Flame sprawls well initially but averse persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Flame is looking to improve his position.

Flame is trying to stand up here but averse is controlling him well.
averse slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
averse throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
averse is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Flame!

averse connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Flame to escape the position.
The referee is taking a good look at Flame as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from averse!

averse has the hooks in. Flame is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
averse trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Flame tries to escape the position.
averse is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. averse gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. averse gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. averse apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Flame shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
averse is staying active underneath Flame, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Flame tries to stand and escape but averse is controlling the position.
Flame lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Flame looks gassed!

Flame wants to work for an arm triangle but averse is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
averse preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
averse regains full guard. Nicely done.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Flame throws and elbow that misses. averse uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Flame's guard. Nice move by averse!
