The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makiavala slips a jab from Parker.
Makiavala bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Parker shoots in but Makiavala avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Makiavala cracks Parker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Parker thows a body shot but no joy.
Makiavala throws a right and a left that both miss.
Makiavala lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Parker backs up against the cage.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Makiavala swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Parker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
