The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ivanov is defended easily by salavate.
Ivanov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
salavate lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ivanov circles away quickly and effectively.
salavate misses with a body kick.
Ivanov scores with a decent looking hook.
salavate scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ivanov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
salavate throws a jab when Ivanov was well out of range.

Ivanov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
