Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between leandro piredda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, leandro piredda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rico Bull!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
piredda fails with a takedown attempt.
Bull keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bull wants to clinch.

piredda shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

piredda stands up from mount. Strange move.
piredda lands with a kick to the temple. Bull shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bull tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bull moves into range and clinches up with piredda.
piredda wants a takedown but no success here.

piredda's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bull closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bull shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bull showed some decent athleticism there.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bull in particular looking to stall.

Bull wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but piredda has him pressed against the cage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
piredda jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bull walks away with a smile on his face. piredda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Bull counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Bull looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
piredda has his hands clasped together around Bull's back. He's all about the action.

Rico Bull dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

piredda closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - piredda lands in his opponent's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bull holds on and takes a little breather.

piredda tries to land a leg kick but Bull saw it coming and moves away.

and piredda decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bull's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

piredda seems to be working for a kimura but Bull defends the submission attempt.
piredda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

piredda is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bull is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
piredda fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bull avoids it really well and circles away.

piredda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
piredda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
piredda is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

I would just about give that final round to Rico Bull.
Well Bull has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
