Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marlo Mouzone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berg has chosen Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Berg.
Berg throws a right and a left that both miss.

Mouzone shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Berg napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Berg tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No joy there for Berg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Berg throws a right hand that Mouzone ducks under and follows up with a left that Mouzone also avoids with ease.

Mouzone rushes Berg and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Berg has clasped his hands together around Mouzone's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Berg lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Mouzone is looking to reverse the position.
The ground and pound from Berg seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Berg decides to stand back up. Berg steps back and let's Mouzone get back to his feet.

Berg scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mouzone doesn't seem bothered though.

and Mouzone counters with a shoot takedown. Berg fights it but they end up in guard.
Berg wants to sweep but no luck.

Berg is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Berg tries to stand but can't do so whilst Mouzone controls his leg.

Berg is trying to control the action in half guard but Mouzone is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Berg thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mouzone's head.
Berg is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Berg stalling away here and it's allowed Mouzone to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Berg paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Mouzone - great work!
