The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolkov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stanislav jabs Kolkov right on the nose. Kolkov blinks but takes it well.
Kolkov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stanislav avoids it really well and circles away.
Stanislav stuns Kolkov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Stanislav. No joy for Kolkov on that attempt.
Taras Stanislav has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexei Kolkov.
Kolkov throws a series of punches but Stanislav moves out of range.
Kolkov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stanislav as he jumps to the side.
Stanislav stuffs the takedown.
Kolkov looks gassed!
Kolkov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stanislav tries to avoid it but Kolkov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stanislav to the ground. Stanislav escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stanislav fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Stanislav misses with a few strikes there.
Kolkov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stanislav but Stanislav pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kolkov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stanislav is fending him off so far but Kolkov persists. Nope, Stanislav circles away and we're back to standing.
Kolkov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Kolkov shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Stanislav looks to land a combination but Kolkov avoids it well.

Stanislav drops Kolkov with a right and a left! Stanislav comes rushing in but Kolkov regains his composure and manages to keep Stanislav in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stanislav decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kolkov, up you get!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stanislav steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Kolkov is out on his feet! Stanislav sets himself and nearly takes Kolkov's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
