The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Slova looks gassed!
Maia lands a slapping body shot.
Maia comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A jab from Maia finds it's way through Slova's defenses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maia lands a lovely overhand right.

Maia lands a big uppercut and Slova crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Slova looks OK. Maia waves Slova back to his feet!

Slova is still on wobbly legs! Can Maia finish him?
Maia swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Slova seems to have recovered his senses.

Slova on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Slova takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Maia feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Slova crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
