Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cates fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Borcuha avoids it really well and circles away.

Borcuha changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cates looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Borcuha is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cates is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Borcuha is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cates knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cates throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Cates is trying to get back to his feet.

Borcuha working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Borcuha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Borcuha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Borcuha is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cates knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Cates manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Borcuha seems to be working for a kimura but Cates defends the submission attempt.
Cates flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cates has his feet on Borcuha's thighs here. He's pushed Borcuha off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Borcuha screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
