The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake tries for a takedown but Mela sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Drake throws a hook to the side of Mela's head but Mela sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Drake closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mela circles away.
Drake tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mela swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mela connects with a body shot.
Drake looks to land a combination but Mela avoids it well.
Drake fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Drake. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mela throws a combination. Drake tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Drake has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mela finds it's way round the side to connect with Drake's head.
Mela throws a series of punches but Drake moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Drake. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Drake moves forwards but Mela connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Mela connects with a nice cross there... Drake is looking wobbly and Mela recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Drake to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Mela jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
