The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDowell thows a body shot but no joy.
Singh circles away from the clinch attempt.
McDowell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Singh doesn't seem bothered though.
McDowell looks to throw the jab but Singh is out of range.

and Singh counters with a nice double leg into side control. McDowell won't be happy with that.

Despite being in the dominant position, Malcon McDowell just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

McDowell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Singh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, McDowell has managed to get both his arms back between Singh's legs - danger averted.
