Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slow Fade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Go DJ by Lil Wayne. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fade tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fade to the ground. Fade escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fade. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fade fails with the takedown.
Jones lands with a right hand.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fade scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one.
A telegraphed right hand from Fade misses the target.
Jones moves away from the strike by Fade.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fade steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Fade missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones thows a left - swing and a miss!
Jones lands with a right hand.

Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jones throwing shots but Fade is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones working Fade over with strikes.
Jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fade can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Slow Fade has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fade tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jones landing strikes from the mount.

That has opened up Slow Fade's cut even more.
Jones has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fade's face.

The cut above Slow Fade's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Slow Fade's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
