Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Ytlear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ytlear comes to the cage accompanied by Necrophobic - The Third Antichrist. Ace Lyons has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with James Ytlear's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ace Lyons!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Ytlear.
Ytlear shoots for a double leg takedown but Lyons sprawls well. He's pushed Ytlear's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lyons avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lyons throws a series of strikes that have Ytlear backpedaling.
Ytlear fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lyons lands a head shot.

Ytlear shoots in and bounces Lyons off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lyons manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ytlear manages to get himself to full guard.

Ytlear has his foot on Lyons's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lyons works his way back into a safe position though.

Ytlear escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lyons gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ytlear had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lyons defends it easily.
Ytlear is breathing heavily.

Lyons with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Lyons slips nicely into half guard.
Lyons is nestled in close to Ytlear, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lyons looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Lyons passes the guard and advances to mount!
Lyons trying to control but Ytlear is having none of it.
Lyons has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ytlear sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lyons connects with a nice short shot to Ytlear's temple.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Lyons has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee warns Ytlear that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Ytlear tries to hold on but Lyons postures up.
Lyons can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ytlear is looking to escape.

Lyons is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ytlear can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Ytlear is in a horrible position here. Lyons smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ytlear is rocked!
Lyons working the ground and pound effectively.
Oh Ytlear is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lyons prevents Ytlear from getting the reversal.
Lyons postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ytlear badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lyons around the waist but Lyons pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lyons is the winner by TKO! Lyons jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
