Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brett Yarris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Aux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yarris comes to the cage accompanied by Land Down Under. Aux comes into a darkened arena with his song building. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44E-lW3aYhM kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Brett Yarris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Aux!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Aux misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Aux.
Yarris throws a shot from downtown. Aux moves away and avoids it.
Yarris waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Aux.
Aux looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yarris is fending him off so far but Aux persists. Nope, Yarris circles away and we're back to standing.
Aux takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Yarris lands a jab.
Aux is rocked!
Yarris lands a big shot that drops Aux! Can he finish him?
Aux is still in real trouble! Can Yarris finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yarris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yarris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Aux seems to have recovered his senses.
Yarris stands and steps away. Aux gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Aux shoots in for a takedown but Yarris shows good takedown defense.
Brett Yarris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Aux.
Aux looks gassed!
Yarris pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Yarris sends Aux crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Yarris is motioning to the referee to let Aux up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Ben Aux has been cut.
Yarris fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A combination from Yarris does no damage.
Yarris cracks Aux with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Aux tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Yarris pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Aux is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brett Yarris!
