Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liste Pik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darwin comes to the cage accompanied by Show Me What You've Got - Powerman 5000. Liste Pik is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Victor Darwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liste Pik!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darwin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Darwin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pik is proving hard to escape from.
Darwin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Darwin wants to stand but Pik has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Darwin sitting in guard here, content to control.
Pik trying to control the position.
Darwin won't allow Pik to sweep him here.
Darwin is looking to stand up but Pik won't let him.
Pik looking to hit a scissor sweep but Darwin is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Darwin blocks a jab.
Pik misses with a few strikes there.

Darwin closes the distance and clinches.
Pik looking for a takedown.
Nice body punch from Darwin.
Pik goes for a takedown attempt but Darwin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pik fails with the takedown.
Victor Darwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Liste Pik.
Pik looks gassed!
Darwin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Darwin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pik's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pik moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pik fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Darwin drops Pik with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pik looks back up at him and smiles so Darwin waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Pik is rocked!
Darwin fakes the body blow, causing Pik to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Pik goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
