Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander magno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander magno could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to James Stevenson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson has a takedown stuffed.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
magno has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Stevenson tries to pass to full mount but magno defends it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

magno is nestled in close to Stevenson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

magno stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and magno wants it to stay on the feet.
A head kick from magno lands but Stevenson takes it in his stride.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
