Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tysen Fricke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh shoots in but Fricke avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fricke misses with a takedown attempt

and Marsh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fricke's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marsh slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Marsh stands and steps away. Fricke gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Marsh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fricke wants to get back to his feet but Marsh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Marsh is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Marsh tries to free his leg and advance position but Fricke is retaining full guard.
Marsh wanted to stand there but Fricke had control of the position.
Fricke wants to stand up but Marsh is controlling him.

Marsh stands up and waves to Fricke to follow him.

Marsh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fricke's guard.

and Marsh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fricke won't be happy with that.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Marsh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fricke was covering up waiting for the punch and Marsh finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fricke is looking to stand up but Marsh isn't so interested in that idea.
Marsh lands a couple of digs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray Marsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Fricke is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Marsh asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Marsh decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fricke to his feet.

Marsh takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Marsh keeps control of the position easily here as Fricke tries to buck him off.

Marsh looking to break Fricke's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Fricke remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Marsh will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Fricke is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

and Marsh counters with a shoot takedown. Fricke fights it but they end up in guard.

Fricke pushes Marsh off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Marsh shoots in and bounces Fricke off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Marsh wants to stand but Fricke is controlling his posture from full guard.

Fricke has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Marsh off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Marsh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fricke sprawls well. Fricke wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marsh gets slowly back to his feet.
Marsh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Marsh gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fricke to score an easy takedown into full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ray Marsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marsh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
