Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Gorjean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abra Alakazam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorjean shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alakazam as he avoids it easily.
Alakazam closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gorjean to the mat! Gorjean manages to get full guard.

Gorjean has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alakazam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gorjean remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
