Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yodsaenklai Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luca de Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yodsaenklai Fairtex had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex scores with a sloppy right hand. de Silva should have avoided that one.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! de Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fairtex - the referee stops the clock and de Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fairtex. de Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

de Silva is looking to break free of the clinch but Fairtex has double underhooks.
de Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Fairtex has him pressed against the ropes.
Fairtex connects with a nasty looking knee right to de Silva's face.
Fairtex crunches a lovely knee into de Silva's ribcage.

de Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Fairtex won't allow it.

Fairtex is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fairtex is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
de Silva circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Fairtex to the canvas! Fairtex doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - de Silva keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
