Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joel Kuokkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peanutbutter Smack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peanutbutter Smack will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Smack changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kuokkanen tries to avoid it but Smack manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kuokkanen to the ground. Kuokkanen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Kuokkanen or perhaps it was just good defense by Smack which made him look bad.

Kuokkanen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
