The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch up but McTavish keeps it at a distance.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva looks to throw the jab but McTavish is out of range.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but McTavish shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva tries to clinch up but McTavish circles away and keeps his distance.
Silva has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silva there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Paulo Silva has been cut.
Silva is looking to slow McTavish down with leg kicks.
Silva is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McTavish.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McTavish cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Silva lands a really nice looking cross but McTavish seems unphased.
Silva gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McTavish.
Silva throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McTavish.
Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Silva is breathing heavily.
McTavish is looking to slow Silva down with leg kicks.
Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McTavish fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
McTavish cracks Silva with an open hand slap.

Paulo Silva's cut is getting worse.

Silva walks into a stiff left hand from McTavish.
McTavish scores with the left hand. Silva knows he should have avoided that one.
McTavish connects with a stiff jab that staggers Silva - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
