Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kapeng Mainit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luras Vart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kapeng Mainit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luras Vart!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vart tries to score with a low kick but Mainit moves his leg out of the way.
Mainit keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vart tries to close the distance and clinch but Mainit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vart lands with an overhand left.
Mainit fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vart stuffs the takedown.
Mainit misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mainit looks for a takedown but Vart sprawls well.

Mainit gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vart to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Mainit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vart can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mainit is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Vart gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Vart looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Vart wants to get up but he can't break Mainit's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mainit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mainit controls Vart momentarily but Vart frees himself.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mainit is working an open guard so Vart takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mainit is breathing heavily.
Vart attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Mainit takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Kapeng Mainit has been cut.
Mainit fails to land with a series of punches.
Mainit circles away from the clinch attempt

and Mainit counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luras Vart dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Kapeng Mainit's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Vart lands with a big right hook that stumbles Mainit - he's out on his feet here! Vart follows up with another monster hook that separates Mainit from consciousness! Mainit falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Vart stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
