The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

curu looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cricket throws a head kick but curu moves out of range.
curu ducks under a wild hook from Cricket.
Cricket closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Cricket gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cricket connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused curu some visible discomfort.

It looks like cucu curu has been cut.
You can see the frustration on curu's face as Cricket controls the position.
curu on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cricket is putting a hurting on curu here, landing some big shots from side control.
Cricket wants to lay and pray for a moment but curu keeps working.
Cricket works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Cricket creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Cricket tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cricket has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cricket is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. curu is trying to escape and Cricket transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and curu is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cricket! Very nice indeed!
