Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olavi Neumann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Kuorma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Neumann might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pantera - Cowboys From Hell. Max Kuorma has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Olavi Neumann's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neumann lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kuorma misses with a double jab
and Neumann holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Neumann lands with a short shot to the head.
Kuorma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Neumann lands a two punch combo.
Kuorma misses with a wild body shot.
Neumann takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kuorma misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kuorma darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kuorma lands with a punch from half guard.
Kuorma thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kuorma thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Neumann's head.
Kuorma wants to take a breather but Neumann is having none of it.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Neumann makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Kuorma looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Neumann!
Kuorma goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Neumann is on top in guard.
Neumann trying to control the position from guard on top but Kuorma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Neumann has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Kuorma wants to get back to his feet but Neumann passes into half guard.
Neumann is keen to just control but Kuorma is a slippery customer.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kuorma can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kuorma is looking to control Neumann's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kuorma avoid being mounted?
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Neumann tries to clinch but Kuorma is having none of it.
Neumann stuffs the takedown.
Kuorma takes a swing at Neumann's ribcage but misses.
Kuorma bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Neumann's head backwards.
Neumann slips a jab and a cross from Kuorma.
Neumann tries to clinch but Kuorma moves out of range.

Neumann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kuorma swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Neumann falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kuorma scores with a counter punch that sends Neumann to the canvas! Kuorma smells blood - he's punishing Neumann with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Neumann has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Kuorma!
