Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and giggy simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anstey comes into the arena with Gonna Fly Now blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey shoots in for a takedown but simpson shows good takedown defense.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anstey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but simpson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

simpson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Anstey to his feet.

Anstey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. simpson tries to avoid it but Anstey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag simpson to the ground. simpson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Anstey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has simpson pinned against the cage. simpson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
