Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nuke Dukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tre Dos Santos!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dukem shoots for a takedown but Dos Santos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A combination from Dukem does no damage.
Dukem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dos Santos has his takedown stuffed

and Dukem decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dos Santos's guard.
Dukem's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Dukem's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Dukem postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Dukem not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Dukem decides to stand back up.
Dos Santos misses with a takedown attempt

and Dukem holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Dos Santos looks gassed!

Dukem decides to pull guard.
Dukem seems keen to control Dos Santos's posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dukem is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dos Santos defends well.
Dukem managing to control the position.

Dukem pushes Dos Santos off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Dukem fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dos Santos sprawls well initially but Dukem persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dukem has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dukem breaks from Dos Santos's wrist control and lands an elbow.

It looks like Tre Dos Santos has been cut.

Dukem stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Dukem misses with a wild combination.

Dukem closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dos Santos to the mat! Dos Santos manages to get full guard.

Dukem has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dukem decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dos Santos, up you get!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dos Santos stuffs the takedown attempt from Dukem. Dukem gets slowly back to his feet.
Dos Santos moves out of range of the body kick from Dukem.

Dukem closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dukem lands in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dukem's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dos Santos has momentary wrist control but Dukem slips an elbow through the middle.
Dukem chips away with some ground and pound.
Dos Santos doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nuke Dukem dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tre Dos Santos's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Dukem closes the distance and clinches.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Dos Santos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dukem avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dukem pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

so Dukem counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Dukem decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Dukem shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dos Santos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Dukem thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Dukem is pushing down on Dos Santos's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dos Santos is fighting to maintain full guard but Dukem has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dukem seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dukem has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dukem lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dos Santos hang on?

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tre Dos Santos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
