Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gemini Forrest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Forrest throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.
Brown scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Brown moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Gemini Forrest has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Forrest misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
Forrest swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brown misses the shot to the body.
Forrest keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Forrest misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Brown has Forrest pressed against the cage, preventing Forrest from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Forrest wants to break free but Brown has control.

Forrest is trying to force a seperation but Brown has the dominant position.

Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Forrest takes a swing at Brown's ribcage but misses.
A combination from Brown does no damage.
Forrest stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Forrest throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it.
Brown changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Forrest looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Brown works Forrest's body with a nice hook.
Brown clinches with his opponent.
Brown pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Forrest wanted to stand there but Brown had control of the position.
Forrest postures up.
Brown has his feet on Forrest's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Brown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Forrest moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Forrest swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Forrest manages to avoid it.
Forrest on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Forrest misses with a straight right.
Brown lands with a nice body punch.
A jab from Brown does it's job there.
Brown wants to clinch up but Forrest keeps it at a distance.
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown closes the distance and clinches.
Forrest wants to break the clinch but can't.
Brown successfully pulls guard.
Forrest stands up from Brown's guard - Forrest perhaps looking for a knockout.
Forrest keeps the fight on the outside.
Brown gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brown is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Forrest can't fight it off and eventually Brown manages to take the fight to the floor. Forrest looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Brown decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Brown dips to his left and cracks Forrest with an uppercut!
Brown has taken the fight to the clinch.
Forrest tries to break free but Brown pushes him back against the cage.
Brown tries to pull guard but Forrest holds him up against the cage and eventually Brown drops back down to his feet.
Brown keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Forrest's efforts to push away.
Forrest prevents a body shot from Brown.
Brown goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Forrest can't break the clinch.
Forrest working hard to break the clinch.
Brown scores with a shoulder strike.
Brown tries to stall but Forrest uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Forrest is trying to break the clinch but Brown is controlling him.
Forrest has had enough of the clinch but Brown keeps him there for the moment.

Brown works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Forrest really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brown decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Brown lands with a good body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Forrest momentarily.

Brown lands with a shot to the body.
Brown misses with the combination.
Forrest takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Forrest slips under a jab.
Brown scores with a one two! Forrest had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Brown is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Brown gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Brown manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Forrest is posturing up here but Brown has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Forrest tries to roll out but it's too tight and Forrest has to tap! Slick submission there by Brown!
