The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hurter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Hurter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hurter works the jab nicely.
Hurter lands a jab to Penn's midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Penn misses with a jab, cross combination.

Penn tries to clinch but Hurter moves out of range.

Hurter lands a big head kick that sends Penn tumbling to the mat! Hurter takes a step backwards and waves Penn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hater Hurter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hurter connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Penn tumbling to the canvas! Hurter pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Penn was done - good stoppage!
