The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ware throws a jab when Manfredo Jr was well out of range.
Ware tries a head kick but it misses.
The fighters circling - Ware throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ware shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Manfredo Jr pinned against the cage. Manfredo Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ware moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ware throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ware pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Manfredo Jr scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Manfredo Jr dodges the punch combination from Ware.
Ware scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Manfredo Jr lands a head shot.
Ware misses with a takedown attempt - Manfredo Jr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Peter Manfredo Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demarcus Ware.
Ware goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Manfredo Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Ware tries to clinch but Manfredo Jr is having none of it.
Ware doesn't manage to clinch there - Manfredo Jr circles away.
Ware takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Ware shoots for a takedown but Manfredo Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Manfredo Jr looks to land a combination. Ware sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Demarcus Ware has been cut.
Demarcus Ware seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ware takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Oooh a lovely combination from Manfredo Jr sends Ware down but not out. Manfredo Jr dives into side control looking to finish.

Manfredo Jr decides to stand back up. Manfredo Jr steps back and let's Ware get back to his feet.
Ware tries to clinch but Manfredo Jr moves out of range.
Manfredo Jr jabs Ware right on the nose. Ware blinks but takes it well.

Ware falls off balance throwing a combination
and Manfredo Jr counters with a nice uppercut.
Ware takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That has opened up Demarcus Ware's cut even more.
Manfredo Jr is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Manfredo Jr is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
