Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyokawa jabs Diaz right on the nose. Diaz blinks but takes it well.
Diaz looks for a takedown but Toyokawa sprawls well.
Diaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Toyokawa throws out the jab.
Diaz pushes Toyokawa up against the ropes in a clinch.
Diaz works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Diaz misses with a hook from the clinch.

Takeru Toyokawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Toyokawa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Diaz is tightening it up a little... Toyokawa has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Toyokawa reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Toyokawa taps out! nice BJJ there by Diaz!
