Batista has chosen Before I Forget as his entrance music. Moises Batista is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabian Roman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Moises Batista!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman tries a head kick but it misses.
Roman has Batista up against the cage in a clinch.
Batista pushes off an throws an elbow but Roman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Roman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Batista just stands there and leans against the cage.
Batista lands a nice elbow.
Roman drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Roman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Batista gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabian Roman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Batista misses with an elbow strike.
Roman works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Batista is looking to stand up but Roman isn't so interested in that idea.
Roman is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Roman drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Roman seems to have locked his on tight now - Batista screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Roman, as he picks up the win!
