Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laitela tries to land a front kick but Bad steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Laitela tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bad paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bad swats away the attempt to clinch by Laitela.

Bad closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bad wants to control but Laitela is keeping him busy.

Laitela kicks Bad off and gets back to his feet.
Laitela throws a head kick that misses.

Bad gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bad had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Laitela defends it easily.

Bad is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Bad has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Laitela is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bad.
Bad tries to bench press Laitela off him but Laitela keeps the position.

Laitela throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bad gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Laitela lands strikes from half guard.

Laitela looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bad looking for a guillotine here but Laitela defends easily.
Laitela thows a big elbow that misses.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Laitela stands and throws Bad's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Bad tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Laitela working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Laitela wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bad, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bad can't do much from the bottom here.

That was a close round but I would say that Ismo Laitela will probably get the nod.
That's time! Laitela's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bad fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Laitela avoids it really well and circles away.

Laitela throws a chopping leg kick but Bad manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Laitela tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Bad is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Laitela looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bad gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Laitela is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bad lets go of the hold and Laitela can pop his arm back in it's socket.
