The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson throws the left hand but Melo avoids the punch easily.
Melo ducks right into an uppercut from Tyson.

It looks like Victor Melo has been cut.
Melo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tyson but Tyson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Melo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Melo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tyson.
Jab, jab by Tyson - just one landing.
Tyson jabs Melo right on the nose. Melo blinks but takes it well.
Tyson cracks Melo with an open hand slap.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Melo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Melo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Melo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tyson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tyson lands with a kick to the temple. Melo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Tyson lands a head shot.
Tyson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Melo at a distance.
Melo is breathing heavily.

Nice takedown defense from Tyson. No joy for Melo on that attempt.
Tyson misses with a series of wild punches.
Tyson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tyson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Melo takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tyson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tyson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Nice combo by Tyson! Oh, that's hurt him - Melo falls to the canvas and Tyson follows him into side control.

Melo is rocked!

Victor Melo's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tyson stands up.
Tyson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tyson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Melo's sensitive parts.

Tyson lands a high kick to the side of Melo's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Tyson dives into guard, looking to finish.
Oh Melo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Victor Melo's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Victor Melo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
