Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Sleep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arthur Sleep will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Sleep!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sleep tries a head kick but it misses.
Harris fails to land the takedown.

Sleep fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Harris, pushing him back against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Sleep.
Harris looking for a takedown.
Harris has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sleep is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harris avoids a wild elbow strike from Sleep.
Harris wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Harris is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sleep is aware though and is defending well.

Harris has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Sleep got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sleep has managed to get both his arms back between Harris's legs - danger averted.
Harris on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Harris tries to get out of the position.

Sleep stands up from Harris's guard - Sleep perhaps looking for a knockout.
An inside leg kick lands from Sleep.
Harris is breathing heavily.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sleep as he jumps to the side.
Sleep clinches but Harris breaks the clinch

and Harris decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sleep's guard.
Harris won't allow Sleep to get back to his feet.
Sleep really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Harris wants to control from the top but Sleep keeps moving.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harris is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Harris looking to pass the guard.
Sleep is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Harris is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harris postures up in Sleep's guard and throws a big left but Sleep blocks it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Harris closes the distance and clinches.
Nice elbow from Sleep.
Harris wants a takedown.

Sleep breaks the clinch.
Sleep wants to clinch

and Harris counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sleep won't be happy with that.
Sleep is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Harris is controlling him well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The strikes coming from Harris are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Harris fails to land a wild elbow strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sleep closes the distance but Harris moves to the side

and Harris counters by moving into the clinch.

Sleep's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harris closes the distance and clinches up with Sleep, looking for a takedown. Harris pushes Sleep against the cage but Sleep circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sleep tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Harris drives through and clinches with Sleep against the cage.
Sleep throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Sleep keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Harris's efforts to push away.
Sleep throws an elbow that misses.

Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A good leg kick by Sleep.
Sleep wants to clinch but Harris slips to the side

and Harris counters by clinching up.
Harris tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sleep just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sleep creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
With the fighters up against the cage, Sleep throws an elbow but misses.
Sleep comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Sleep pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Sleep.
Sleep ducks under a wild hook from Harris.

Sleep defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Harris.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sleep breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Harris counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Harris looking to sit in guard and control but Sleep gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Harris has a closed guard, preventing Sleep from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris controls Sleep momentarily but Sleep frees himself.

Sleep wants to stand but Harris is controlling his posture from full guard.
Harris wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sleep manages to pass to side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sleep tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Harris.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Harris swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Sleep misses with an attempted mid kick.

Harris instigates a clinch.

Sleep pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sleep looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sleep looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Harris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Harris fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sleep darts in and clinches Harris up against the cage.
Harris is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Harris wants to get back to striking at distance but Sleep won't allow it.

Sleep pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sleep throws a series of punches but Harris avoids them all with ease.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sleep!


It looks like Josh Harris has been cut.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harris fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sleep closes the distance but Harris moves to the side
and Harris counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Harris keeps the fight on the outside.
Sleep darts in trying to clinch

and Harris counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sleep!

Sleep is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Harris punching from mount but Sleep doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Harris throws some wild stikes that Sleep manages to avoid easily.
Harris is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Sleep avoids a series of strikes thrown by Harris.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Harris can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sleep is looking to escape.
Harris sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Harris goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sleep turns into him and now he's in Harris's guard.
Sleep tries to stand but Harris is controlling from the bottom.
Arthur Sleep has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Harris pulls Sleep in close to prevent any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Harris pushes Sleep off and scrambles back to his feet.

Sleep lands a left and a right that send Harris crashing to the mat, dazed. Sleep thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Josh Harris is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harris checks a leg kick nicely.
Sleep looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Arthur Sleep comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harris has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
