Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aidan Kincaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zidane Sephiroth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zidane Sephiroth acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zidane Sephiroth!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kincaid is defended easily by Sephiroth.

Sephiroth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kincaid dives in and grabs Sephiroth's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sephiroth pushes down on Kincaid's head and hops out.

Kincaid closes the distance and clinches.
Sephiroth keeps control of Kincaid as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Sephiroth's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Kincaid closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sephiroth to the mat! Sephiroth manages to get full guard.

Sephiroth escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kincaid gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kincaid won't allow Sephiroth to sweep him here.
Kincaid stands up over Sephiroth, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Sephiroth is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Sephiroth tries a body shot but Kincaid blocks it.
Kincaid tries to break the clinch but Sephiroth is controlling the position.
Sephiroth takes a knee to the side of the body.

Kincaid tries to break free but Sephiroth pushes him back against the cage.

Kincaid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kincaid misses with a wild combination.
Kincaid shoots in looking for a takedown. Sephiroth tries to sprawl out of it but Kincaid keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sephiroth manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aidan Kincaid. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sephiroth manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kincaid's best efforts.

Kincaid gets to his feet - Sephiroth follows without any prompting.

Sephiroth swings for the body but Kincaid moves out of range.
Kincaid shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A decent looking cross lands there for Sephiroth.

Kincaid shoots in for a takedown but Sephiroth shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sephiroth is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kincaid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sephiroth.

Sephiroth is looking to advance position but Kincaid won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sephiroth moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kincaid has worked his arm free - good work by Kincaid!
Sephiroth is breathing heavily.
Kincaid regains half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kincaid avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sephiroth.

Zidane Sephiroth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Zidane Sephiroth is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Kincaid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Kincaid throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sephiroth sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kincaid shoots for a double leg takedown but Sephiroth sprawls well. He's pushed Kincaid's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sephiroth shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sephiroth was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kincaid tries to hold on but Sephiroth pushes him away.
Sephiroth fails to move to back control.
Sephiroth takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Kincaid holds on, trying desperately to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kincaid srikes from the bottom but he's lost position and has given up his back.
